Sautjan Vineyards 'S17' and Three Chain Road Wines are a boutique vineyard situated on the north-facing slope of Mt Jim Jim in Newham, only an hour north of Melbourne, Victoria. This majestic location lies in the heart of the Macedon Ranges within close proximity of Kyneton, Woodend, Lancefield and the famous Hanging Rock.
At an elevation of 650 meters above sea level, the Sautjan 'S17' and Three Chain Road vines are protected from cold southerly winds by Mount Macedon and from the hot northerly winds by the Cobaw Ranges. For this reason, the Macedon region is internationally recognised for producing high quality Australian cool climate wines. Complimenting this reputation, Sautjan bring to the table an elegant and refined range of Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Viognier, Shiraz and Pinot Noir.
Planted in 2006, we are proud to be producing a small amount of our own fruit as well as sourcing quality parcels from selected growers within the Macedon and nearby winegrowing regions. In addition we currently undertake a small amount of contract wine making, inviting the customers to have as much or as little input as desired.
