2008 Sauvignon Blanc

Colour – Pale lime green with crystal edges.

Nose – Grassy, green apple, tinned peas, fresh minerality and hints of flintiness and mint.

Palate – A “richer” style Sauvignon Blanc, showing dense fruit, fresh fleshiness, peas, and gooseberries, with a tapered citrus back palate with great length

Brief - Made in the “Food Style” Sauvy which is much richer than the thin weedy zesty weedy styles out there. This style was to blend and create a style with rich mid palate and persistence.

Region - 70% Strathbogie Ranges, 30% King Valley, Victoria.

2007 Chardonnay

Colour – Pale yellow with green tinges.

Nose – Fig, fresh melon, dried lime rind, soft cashews, and nice vanilla elegant oak.

Palate – Rich citrus with a great flinty textured palate, showing lovely Chardonnay structure. Dense fruit and nice oak balance with stunning natural spinal acidity for palate depth.

Brief - Making a refined elegant Chardonnay was the aim, tight up front fruit lovely integration and the use of smart French oak and stylish small parcel of Malolactic fermentation.

2007 Shiraz

Colour – Dark cherry red.

Nose – Lifted blackberries, elegant white pepper, fine French oak integration.

Palate – Rich, powdery intense black cherry notes with fine cracked pepper. Soft velvet texture, lifted perfumed of black forest fruit, fine tapered palate.

Brief - The aim was to over deliver on regional Shiraz characters in a rich, yet soft Shiraz with great depth and subtleness. Seeking to be very pretty and to present lovely grace and style.
